My cloudy grey coat shook as we stopped. Aqua paced in front of me, triumphant that he got his shaggy dark bay fur in front of me. Nope, not happening. I trotted in front of him, ignoring his snorts and hoof stomps. 'Belle!' My rider scolded. I dipped my head in helplessness. There are ponies that are followers, and ponies that are leaders. Unfortunately, Aqua and I are both leaders. So that makes us incompatible for riding trails. But somehow our Riders do it. Somehow. We finally reached the destination. What it was hung in the air like a mystery, but we got inside. It was stables, and the ponies there had something different about them. It also hung in the air like another mystery. We had never seen them before! We know all the ponies at the ranch, but here, the 'ponies' were colossal with long legs and massive necks. We were like little gnomes compared to them. I looked in the ring. KICK! What was that? My gawd. These ponies are untrained. This makes us feel like the only proper creatures here. We were put in a stable. I looked next to me and I swear the BIGGEST most YELLOW horse was next to me. It had large muscles and looked like it was ready to bowl me over. I yelped. "Hi, largemassivehorsepleasedon'teatme!" It blinked at me. "Umm, pardon?" I blinked back. Was these things deaf? Or just acting up for me. Either way I looked next to my stall again. There was a black paint horse, with a huge dip in the nozzle. It spoke funny, like Beaver in my old stables. "Hallo. I am Soar" Sore? THAT is a bad horse name. He looked at my expression and said "Fly, not hurt" Now I understand. CRASH! It was coming from my stable door! I was ready to protect my door at whatever cost. It had bristles on it which were good back scratchers!
