Well its that time of the year again…..Time for our latest and greatest ideas that are soon coming to the HorseRPG Plugin Version 3.0! This Expansion is focused on realism, health, fitness, and wellbeing. You spoke and we listened! Please see below a list of all the new changes coming to HorseRPG version 3.0. A few new jobs will be created. Vet & Ferrier, Both of these will require players to attend “School” to get your Vet or Ferrier licenses. Also we will need Laborers, these players will create the actual shots, meds, shoes, and other odds and ends to then resell to the Vets and Ferrier’s. Top Horse: Just like TopBalance but for your horses! Bareback riding: Allow the players to ride their horses without saddle. (This is being explored to see if its even possible. So please keep that in mind) Lunging: Horse will run in a circle (using “lunge line” New item: use lead). This will level up groundwork and also swiftness. Ground Work: Leveling will be from 1-50. During beginning levels horses may rear and/or “buck” off the player. The higher the ground work levels the less likely that will happen. At level 50 they will no longer rear or buck. Ground work levels can be achieved by walking or lunging your horse with a “lunge line” (New item: use lead) Health Bar: This will keep track of the horses health and will alert you when your horse is not in tip top shape. With that being said, below is a list of a few things that could be dangerous to your horses health. Equine Influenza (“Flu”): Requires a “yearly” shot by a vet to prevent. If not prevented your horse can die from it. Very Common. Rhinopneumonitis/Equine Herpesvirus (EHV): Requires a “yearly” shot by a vet to prevent. If not prevented your horse can die from it. Not very common. Equine Encephalomyelitis (“Sleeping Sickness”): Requires a “yearly” shot by a vet to prevent. If not prevented your horse can die from it. Very Rare. Equine Infectious Anemia Virus (EIA): Requires a “yearly” shot by a vet to prevent. If not prevented your horse can die from it. Very Rare. West Nile Virus: Requires a “yearly” shot by a vet to prevent. If not prevented your horse can die from it. Very Common. Equine Rabies: Requires a “yearly” shot by a vet to prevent. If not prevented your horse can die from it. Very Common. Potomac Horse Fever: Requires a “yearly” shot by a vet to prevent. If not prevented your horse can die from it. Very Rare. Founder: Requires a vet to come out and treat your horse with a bucket of ice water and Antibiotic Paste. Common. Colic: Requires a vet to come and and give your horse some Mineral Oil to help the impaction move. Abscesses: Requires a Farrier to come out and pop the abscess. Barefoot Trim: Requires a Farrier to come out and trim your horses feet once every 4-6 weeks. If left undone your horse will go lame. Trim and Shoes: Requires a Farrier. A bit more pricey than a trim but putting shoes on your horse will make your Farrier visits less frequent. Shoes last 7-12 weeks. Let us know in the comments below what you think! *Comment made about Diseases and Horse "Deaths"* Hey all I would like to address the Diseases and "horse deaths" that your all talking about. If you took notice to the shot all of these are "yearly" shots so what that means is as long as your horse had their shots theres no way for your horse to get those diseases. We are still unsure of how often the "yearly" shots will be required to give to your horses but rest assured you wont be empting your bank accounts for them. We are aware some of you have alot of horses and we want to keep it that way. Secondly, As far as "death" goes with your horses...THEY WONT DIE! What will happen is they will be UNUSABLE until they have been treated by a vet or Farrier. We understand your horses are important to you so we want to make it as realistic as possible but enable you to still keep your beloved steeds. Time for another update on the HorseRPG plugin...We are adding even more breeds! Going from 27 to a whopping 62 different breeds! Below is a list of the breeds you can choose from! This is so exciting!!! I can't wait!!!😀 😀 😀 😀
i cant login to the server it says im supposed to be on 1.12 and it says check this website for how to delete 1.13 and go back to 1.12 but theres nothing here....
Im really excited for the new update. Do you already know if it will be published this year? And is anyone able to enter one of the new jobs?
Actually, Horseminecrafter, the vet and farrier positions serve server wide, they aren't personal hire. Not just anyone can be a vet/farrier, you'll have to go to "vet/farrier school" to be trained by the lead. But, nonetheless, it'll be a super cool experience! The price of registering hasn't yet been confirmed.
how much will registering cost?
This is gonna be amazing: I wanna become a vet and a labrorer so I can make my horses well again and be able to make the supplies so that I can help them. I will be wanting to hire a farrier to work at my stables :D I have a house and small land plot for whoever wants to be my ranches farrier. I will pay $500 a month
This is really exciting, so pumped for 3.0!
